DMCA Policy

The texts, drawings and logo of 1v1-video.chat were created for this guide. If you nevertheless spot material here that you think violates your copyright, a notice to us starts a quick review. The procedure below follows the notice-and-takedown rules of the US Digital Millennium Copyright Act, 17 U.S.C. § 512.

Video or messages on the provider’s site

Whatever appears on the cam site behind the Start button belongs to that provider’s service and never passes our servers, so we cannot remove it. Complaints about it need to go to that provider directly.

Six parts of a complete notice

  1. A signature, handwritten or electronic, given by the owner of the copyright or by a person allowed to act in the owner’s name.
  2. A description of the protected work you say was copied.
  3. The precise web address on 1v1-video.chat at which the disputed item sits.
  4. Contact details for you: name, mailing address, telephone and an email address.
  5. A statement of your good faith belief that neither the copyright owner nor its agent nor any law has approved the use in question.
  6. A sworn line, under penalty of perjury, that every detail given is accurate and that you hold authority over, or for, the holder of the exclusive right at stake.

Choose the topic “Copyright matter” in the contact form and paste the notice there. Complete notices are normally dealt with inside a few working days, and the material in question is hidden while the review runs.

Answering a removal: the counter-notice

Did a removal hit your material by error? A counter-notice then has to carry: a signature from you; which item vanished and its former address on this site; a statement under penalty of perjury that you hold a good faith belief the takedown happened through mistake or misidentification of the material; your name, address and phone number; and your agreement that disputes may be heard by the federal district court of your own judicial district. We forward it to whoever sent the original notice.

Notices filed in bad faith

Anyone who knowingly misrepresents facts in a notice may be liable for damages under § 512(f). Every notice that arrives here is kept on file.
